Luxcon Contrast Control Filter (With Ultracon)

The LuxCon is a new kind of contrast control filter that uses a proprietary RGBW LED system to give you real-time control over shadow detail, color temperature, and ambient fill — all from a single, camera-mounted tray.
 
Built from the ground up with a precision-machined single metal tray design and integrated PCB, the LuxCon slots seamlessly into one stage of your Arri style matte box. With no extra rigging or accessories required, it keeps your build lean and efficient. Control it wirelessly via Bluetooth — either yourself or through your DIT — right from our custom app.
 
By illuminating the filter in front of your lens, the LuxCon lets you subtly or dramatically lift shadows, fine adjust curves, dial in tone, or layer in animated light movement — perfect for fine-tuning contrast ratios or creating dynamic in-camera effects that interact with practicals and key lights.
 
This package includes a custom ordered Tiffen Ultracon 1/8 which may require additional leadtime.
 
Compatible with most diffusion filters that allow edge light transmission. (We recommend avoiding sealed-edge filters that block side-light entry.)
