The LuxCon — Cinematic Contrast Control Reimagined

The LuxCon is a new kind of contrast control filter that uses a proprietary RGBW LED system to give you real-time control over shadow detail, color temperature, and ambient fill — all from a single, camera-mounted tray.
Built from the ground up with a precision-machined metal tray and integrated PCB, the LuxCon slots seamlessly into your matte box. With no extra rigging or accessories required, it keeps your build lean and efficient. Control it wirelessly via Bluetooth — either yourself or through your DIT — right from our custom app.
By illuminating the filter in front of your lens, the LuxCon lets you subtly or dramatically lift shadows, dial in tone, or layer in animated light movement — perfect for fine-tuning contrast ratios or creating dynamic in-camera effects that interact with practicals and key lights.

The Luxcon is a contrast control filter that uses a proprietary design of RGBW LEDs to control aspects of your image in a way that was previously only available to very few.

By illuminating a filter in front of your lens you are able to control the shadow areas of your image. By dialing in your color, temperature, and even animations you are now able to open a whole new part of creativity baked into your image. With the bluetooth controlled app you can wirelessly control all these aspects, or have your DIT dial in your look. Add animations to create a dynamic lighting tool in conjunction with your external lights that change your image in ways never before possible.

Choose from our 3 filters, a glimmercon, low contrast, or Tiffen Ultracon to dial in your look.

Mike used the Chase animation with intermittent LEDs selected for a disjointed dream sequence. The closeup scene of our villain is colored with a static yellow warm color for a traditional use to add some feeling to the shadows.
